Research profile
Melanocortin-related compounds
Blend-specific evidence gap
What it is and why it is studied
Melanocortin-related research includes pigmentation and receptor signalling. Applying that research to an MT1 / MT2 blend requires a precise identification of each constituent and evidence relevant to their combination.
What studies have found
The linked phase 1 pilot studied Melanotan II alone in three men, reporting pigmentation changes in two and adverse effects including nausea, fatigue and somnolence. It did not test this blend.
The precise MT1 identity has not been verified. Single-compound results, or evidence for an approved afamelanotide medicine, cannot establish this combination's effects or safety.

Chemical reference
A blend has constituent identities and amounts rather than one peptide sequence or molecular formula. The catalogue labels do not replace supplier confirmation of the constituents and their chemical forms. Studies of individual ingredients do not verify the finished mixture or establish combined effects.
Selected literature and reference information checked 11 September 2026. Study findings concern the preparations and models described; they do not certify this product. For laboratory research only.
